
LibNEL comprises four libraries, whose aim is to provide access to healthcare information and library services for all NHS and Social Care staff in the Outer North East London health community (ONEL Community Services) and for all health students for whom there is an agreement.
The libraries provide numerous services including: specialist stock collections in a range of formats such as books, journals, CDs and DVDs; inter-library loans; information skills training; mediated literature searching; enquiry services; support using electronic resources and experienced library staff to offer support and advice and an appropriate physical environment for research and study.
NHS and social care staff working in the boroughs of
Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest
Health students for whom there is an agreement.
NOTE: Local authority staff can apply to use the service but there
may be some variations in site access policies. Please consult your nearest
service point.
LibNEL is working towards closer links with social care partners and patients and their
carers.
